**Answer:** Violence and abuse can cause anxiety, depression and trauma, and it is not your fault. Speak to a health worker, who can treat injuries, support your mental health and link you to protection services. Kenya has a free gender-based violence helpline, 1195, and children can call 116. If you are in immediate danger, call 999 or 112, or Kenya Red Cross on 1199. Befrienders Kenya: +254 722 178177.
