**Answer:** KMPDC's 2022 Mental Health Treatment and Rehabilitation Institutions Rules set minimum staffing for each category of facility in a schedule. Depending on the level, this can include a visiting psychiatrist, resident medical officer, mental health clinical officers and nurses, clinical psychologists, addiction counsellors and social workers. Every clinician must hold a current registration and practising licence with their own regulator. Check the schedule for your facility category before recruiting, and ask KMPDC to confirm how it will assess staffing at inspection.
