**Answer:** KMPDC's Mental Health Treatment and Rehabilitation Institution Rules 2022 set licensing, standards and staffing requirements for treatment and rehabilitation facilities, scaled by facility level, including access to psychiatrists, medical or clinical officers, psychologists, addiction counsellors and mental health nurses. Licences can be refused if standards or codes of practice are breached. SHA requires pre-authorisation for rehabilitation admissions. Check your facility category before opening.
