**Answer:** Under section 34 of the Counsellors and Psychologists Act, anyone dissatisfied with services, or alleging a breach of the Board's standards of conduct, may make a written complaint. The practitioner must be given an opportunity to be heard at any inquiry, and the Board may remove, suspend or cancel registration or a licence. Section 33 defines misconduct, including deliberately failing to follow the Board's standards. Decisions can be appealed under section 36. Seek legal advice and inform your indemnity provider early.
