**Answer:** SHA's published tariffs show outpatient mental health counselling and psychosocial support funded within the primary healthcare outpatient package at Level 2, 3 and selected Level 4 facilities, paid as capitation (listed at KES 900 per person per year). Inpatient mental health care is paid per day, with listed rates from KES 2,240 (Level 3) to KES 4,480 (Level 6), within a 180-day annual inpatient limit. Drug and substance rehabilitation is listed at KES 67,200. The contract states mental health services are paid per session or per diem. Always check the tariff schedule in your own contract.
