**Answer:** The Occupational Safety and Health Act requires employers to provide a working environment that is safe and without risks to health, and to keep a written safety and health policy. The Ministry of Health's 2023 National Guidelines on Workplace Mental Wellness set out how to build a programme. A draft Code of Practice on psychosocial hazards, published by the Ministry of Labour in 2025, would add specific risk-assessment duties. It was still a draft when published.
