**Answer:** The Medical Practitioners and Dentists Act requires an annual practising licence, and KMPDC states that practising without one is an offence. For 2026 renewal, KMPDC required good standing, 50 CPD points tracked on the iCPD portal, and a valid professional indemnity cover, which section 15A makes mandatory for every practitioner each year. Health institutions must also hold institutional indemnity covering staff liability. Renewal is done through the KMPDC online portal.
