**Answer:** Ask for the vendor's Digital Health Agency certification (or application status), ODPC registration as a data processor, a recent DPIA and security assessment, and its backup and recovery policy. These match the documents the Digital Health regulations ask for. Also ask where data is hosted, how breaches are reported to you, how access is controlled, whether it can exchange data with national systems and SHA claims, and what happens to your data when the contract ends. Put these terms in the contract.
