**Answer:** Self-harm is a sign of serious distress, not attention-seeking, and support is available. If a wound is deep, bleeding heavily, or you have swallowed pills or chemicals, get emergency care now, even if you feel fine. Then talk to someone you trust and a health worker, who can help you find safer ways to cope. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999 or 112, or Kenya Red Cross on 1199. Befrienders Kenya offers free, confidential support on +254 722 178177.
