# How should we price and bill teletherapy sessions?

**Answer:** Price teletherapy on the clinician's time and costs, such as the platform, data and admin, and state clearly whether it costs the same as in-person sessions. Take payment before or at booking, because there is no front desk, and send an eTIMS invoice and receipt electronically. Check with each insurer whether virtual sessions are covered before billing them. VAT treatment should follow the underlying service, but confirm with your tax adviser, especially for clients outside Kenya.
