**Answer:** The Data Protection Act gives people rights to access, correct and, in some cases, erase their personal data. Build a logged workflow: verify identity, find all records including backups and integrations, decide within the required time and explain any refusal. Erasure may be limited where law requires retention of health records. The Digital Health Regulations also allow people to access their health data through the national patient portal. Have clinicians review access requests for therapy notes before release.
