**Answer:** The Counsellors and Psychologists Act gives the Board power to determine the fees charged by professional counsellors, psychologists and firms (section 6(f)), and, on request, to act as arbitrator in disputes between a licensed practitioner and a client (section 6(i)). No current published fee schedule was confirmed. Check with the Board before relying on any fee guidance, and give clients written fee information before therapy starts.
