**Answer:** Yes. Physiotherapy can be combined with medication or injections as part of a coordinated care plan. Medicines may help control pain, inflammation or muscle spasm so you can take part in rehabilitation, and injections are sometimes used in selected conditions alongside exercise, education and graded activity. An injection usually does not replace rehabilitation. Physiotherapists work within their professional scope and should not change your medication; that decision belongs to the prescriber responsible for it.
