**Answer:** Please speak to your prescriber before stopping or reducing any mental health medicine. Feeling better often means the medicine is working, and stopping too soon can bring symptoms back. Stopping suddenly can also cause withdrawal-type effects such as dizziness, sleep problems or flu-like feelings. If you want to stop, your doctor can agree a safe, gradual plan with you.
