**Answer:** Kenya's policy is to make mental health care available at every level, including primary care. Ministry of Health guidelines launched in 2024 train general health workers to recognise and manage common conditions such as depression and anxiety, and to refer when needed. Ask at your nearest dispensary, health centre or county hospital. Larger county and referral hospitals usually have psychiatric clinics.
